Rawa Tart

Tired of always baking cookies and cakes? Time to make some creamy rawa tarts! You can fill them with cream, cream cheese, caramel, etc. and top them with rainbow or choco-chip toppings. They’re sure to be a hit with your kid

Ingredients

Tart
  • 1/2 cup Gajraj Royale Kesari Rawa
  • 100 gm Butter (chilled)
  • 30 gm Icing Sugar
  • 15ml Chilled Water
  • 15ml Egg or Milk
Cream Cheese filling:
  • 3 tbsp Cream Cheese
  •  1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
Tips:- You can use egg instead of milk and whipped cream as filling.

Method

Tart
  • In a bowl add flour butter ,  add Rawa and mix •
  • Add icing sugar and mix
  • Add milk and knead dough
  • Rest for 15 mins in refrigerator
  • Line in tart shells
  • Doc with folk
  • Bake at 200 for 12-15 minutes in OTG
  • For microwave (In convection mode) – 200 for 15 mins
Cream cheese filling:
  • Whisk everything together
  • Once tart shells are baked let it cool down
  • Bring it out of shell
  • Add the cream cheese fillings
  • Top it with sprinkles or choco-chips
