Rawa Dhokla

The softer the dhokla, the yummier it is. This recipe is a simple process for landing just the right Rawa dhoklas on your plate. A light Gujarati dish and Maharashtrian delicacy, dhoklas are light for your stomach and are filling too. The only thing to not forget is- chutney on the side, please.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Gajraj Royale Kesari Rawa fine
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1 tsp ginger and chili paste
Method
  • Mix Gajraj Royale Kesari Rawa curd and ginger and chili paste
  • Add water as required
  • Rest the batter for 10 minutes
  • Add 1/2 eno and mix well
  • Transfer to mould, greased with oil, and steam for 15-17 minutes on a double boiler
  • For tadka take some oil, curry leaves, and sesame seeds. Cook for 1 minute and pour the tadka on dhokla
  • Sprinkle some red chili powder and chopped coriander
  • Serve with chutney
