Momos have been recreated in different versions over the years. It doesn’t change the fact that it is super easy to make. For a flavorful change, start with Gajraj’s Kesari Dalia momos!
Ingredients
Dough:
1/2 cup Maida
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Oil
Water to knead
Filling:
1/2 cup Gajraj Royale Dalia
1 cup Water
1/4 tsp Chopped Carrot
1/4 tsp Chopped Cabbage
Little Coriander Leaves
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Mixed Herbs
Tips:- Chilli Oil: Warm olive oil and add it to chilli flakes.
METHOD
Dough:
In a bowl add Maida , salt, oil and water
Knead the dough well
Let it rest for 10 mins
Filling:
Roast Dalia on pan
Add water and let it boil for 10-15mins
Take a bowl add boiled Dalia
Add all the veggies
Add salt, red chilli powder and mixed herbs
Momos:
Take a small portion from dough
Roll the dough ball
Make round sheets of each ball
Fill the sheet with prepared Dalia filling
Press and pinch the sheet
Then make pleats
Use the steamer and place the Momos
Cover and steam for 5-7 mins · Garnish with chilli oil and spring onions
