Dalia Momos

Momos have been recreated in different versions over the years. It doesn’t change the fact that it is super easy to make. For a flavorful change, start with Gajraj’s Kesari Dalia momos!

Ingredients

Dough:
  •  1/2 cup Maida
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Oil
  • Water to knead
Filling:
  • 1/2 cup Gajraj Royale Dalia
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 tsp Chopped Carrot
  • 1/4 tsp Chopped Cabbage
  • Little Coriander Leaves
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Mixed Herbs
Tips:- Chilli Oil: Warm olive oil and add it to chilli flakes.

METHOD

Dough:
  • In a bowl add Maida , salt, oil and water
  • Knead the dough well
  •  Let it rest for 10 mins
Filling:
  • Roast Dalia on pan
  • Add water and let it boil for 10-15mins
  • Take a bowl add boiled Dalia
  • Add all the veggies
  • Add salt, red chilli powder and mixed herbs
Momos:
  • Take a small portion from dough
  • Roll the dough ball
  • Make round sheets of each ball
  • Fill the sheet with prepared Dalia filling
  • Press and pinch the sheet
  • Then make pleats
  • Use the steamer and place the Momos
  • Cover and steam for 5-7 mins · Garnish with chilli oil and spring onions
